Now, I’m sure you’ve been hearing all about Twitter, so I wanted to take a moment to explain how it WILL benefit you. As I’m sure you know, Twitter has pretty much exploded across the Internet.
Twitter… What is it? Twitter is sort of like a way to be able to send an instant message or an SMS to everyone who wants to hear what you have to say, what you’re doing or perhaps what article you’re reading… All in 140 characters! The way they are able to receive this message, or in this case the “tweet”, is if they decide to follow you. It seems nearly “anyone that’s anyone” has a Twitter account and is using it in their marketing strategies worldwide in one way or another. The good news is that so can you. Simply put, Twitter is quickly becoming the most powerful form of social media in the world.
There are two main objectives:
- Get more followers
- Build credibility and rapport with your followers
The reason you need to use this tool and why so many other people use it is because it’s branding at it’s best.
